BTS MTV VMA 2020 PERFORMANCE: 'DANCED & SING TO 'DYNAMITE' WITH NEW YORK CITY BACKDROP WON ALL NOMINATIONS 4/4 MTV AWARDS WITH A SWEEP

For the first time since "Dynamite" was released on August 21, BTS sang it live on the MTV VMA 2020 virtual stage, Sunday (30/8/2020) New York time. 

BTS performed the disco song in retro-style clothing.  They danced against the backdrop of the night view of New York City. 

This achievement made the Kpop stars the first Korean act to perform at the top four music awards ceremonies in the United States, namely Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, Grammy Awards, and now MTV Video Music Awards.

In this event, BTS was nominated for several categories including best pop, best group, best choreography, and best K-pop, winning all nominations 4/4 MTV Awards with a sweep.

The popular boyband recently made history with the debut of "Dynamite" MV on YouTube.

"Dynamite's" music video set an impressive record on YouTube. The video was viewed 101.1 million times within 24 hours of its release.

"We're going through hard times so we're trying to have fun working on this song," said BTS leader RM.  

"We made this song with the hope of energizing the listeners. We are happy that this song is good and hope that many of our fans can listen to it to receive the positive energy we are trying to put into it. song, " said RM.

BTS will also release their documentary film Break the Silence: The Movie on September 24, 2020. 

The film will present behind the scenes Love Yourself World Tour 2018-2019.

House Approves Marcos Day (September 11) in Ilocos Norte

President Ferdinand Marcos The House of Representatives has approved in the third and final reading the law declaring September 11 as a special non-working holiday in the province of Ilocos Norte in commemoration of the birthday of former President Ferdinand Marcos. According to the report, House Bill 7137 was approved by a vote of 197 on Yes, 9 No and an abstention which set the said date as “President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos Day” in Ilocos Norte.  Ilocos Norte Representatives Angelo Marcos Barba and Ria Fariñas, and Probinsyano Ako party-list Representative Rudys Caesar Fariñas authored the measure. “For the people of Ilocos Norte, the young and promising Marcos has brought pride to the province and served as inspiration for young leaders to exemplify his leadership and governance administration,” said the Fariñas siblings. Momoland's Nancy becomes victim of voyeurs, illegally manipulated photos leaked online, Agency to sue

Nancy   While Momoland's Nancy is being damaged by illegally manipulated photos, the agency has taken a tough response. Nancy's agency, MLD Entertainment, said in an official statement,  “Recently, illegally manipulated photos related to our artist Nancy are being distributed online and on social media. "We will take a strong legal action against anyone who distributes it," it said. According to reports, a staff member took a photo of Nancy while she was undressing.  The incident happened in 2019 when Nancy attended the ‘2019 Asia Artist Awards in Vietnam,’ wherein she was the MC.  The said photo leaked online. The agency plans to implement civil and criminal penalties for violations of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes, the spread of pornography under the Information and Communication Network Act, and infringement of personal rights through the legal representative.
