BTS BTS will release an Anthology album that summarizes their activities since their debut, including three new songs next month. Big Hit Music, the agency, announced on May 5 through the fan community platform 'Weverse, "We will release the anthology album 'Proof' which consists of a total of 3 CDs, on Friday, June 10 at 1pm." It has been about 11 months since BTS released a physical album.  The last one was a CD-type album containing 'Butter' and 'Permission to Dance' in July of last year. BTS South Korea’s National Assembly passed a bill on December 1, allowing top K-pop stars such as BTS to delay enlistment until the age of 30. In South Korea, they implement a compulsory military service system, and all men who meet the requirements must enter the military for about 20 months between the ages of 18 and 28. However, after this amendment to the law, some pop stars who have received cultural medals can postpone their enlistment after being recommended by the Minister of Culture. Prior to this amendment, only well-known athletes or classical musicians in Korea could be exempted or postponed to join the army. The revised "Military Service Law" stated that if an artist in the field of popular culture "recommended by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, who has made outstanding contributions to the promotion of Korea's image both domestically and internationally", the latest age for enlistment can be postponed to 30 years old. Kim Seok-jin (Jin) of BTS   K-pop idol group Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS) agency Big Hit Entertainment announced the possibility of Kim Seok-jin (Jin) postponing his military service until the end of 2021. “BTS consists of members born in 1992 and 1997 who are required to enlist as active soldiers. It is still possible for the oldest member, Kim Seok Jin (Jin) to postpone his mandatory military service until the end of 2021, based on the military service law," they said. BTS's (Bangtan Boys) new single took the top spot, making history by making the group the first Korean musician to dominate the prestigious chart.  Billboard has announced the top 10 on the Hot 100 for the week ending September 5, with a chart that ranks the most popular songs in the United States across all genres based on streaming, radio play, and sales data.    “Dynamite” which is BTS's new English song has entered the charts at No.1. This is the highest ranking on the charts for a group that is made up of all Korean people. Chairman and CEO Bang Si-hyuk of Big Hit Entertainment revealed that BTS will be having a special gig, an online and offline concert, titled "MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E."  This was confirmed during their corporate briefing streamed on YouTube on Aug. 13.  Map Of The Soul ON:E will be BTS' first ‘in-person’ concert of 2020 and  will also be streamed simultaneously online on October 10 and 11, 2020, according to a press release. A stunning poster for the concert showed the seven members: Suga, Jin, RM, Jungkook, Jimin, V, and J-hope wearing red jackets and black trousers and they look like they are walking in the sand away from the camera while Jungkook is holding a large red sheet.
