New BTS Concert 2020: 'MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E' Online & Offline Concert

Opah Fish Philippines 2020: Giant Fish Surfaces After Powerful Earthquake
Chairman and CEO Bang Si-hyuk of Big Hit Entertainment revealed that BTS will be having a special gig, an online and offline concert, titled "MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E."  This was confirmed during their corporate briefing streamed on YouTube on Aug. 13.

Map Of The Soul ON:E will be BTS' first ‘in-person’ concert of 2020 and  will also be streamed simultaneously online on October 10 and 11, 2020, according to a press release.

A stunning poster for the concert showed the seven members: Suga, Jin, RM, Jungkook, Jimin, V, and J-hope wearing red jackets and black trousers and they look like they are walking in the sand away from the camera while Jungkook is holding a large red sheet.

The agency also explained that limited seating will be available for the ‘offline’ version of ‘Map of the Soul ON:E’ concert to adhere with the South Korean government’s mandated concert seat distancing measures for COVID-19 prevention.  Ticket prices and the venue, are yet to be revealed.

The septet’s ‘Map Of The Soul’ world tour was sheduled to start in April, but like most concerts and live shows in 2020, it was cancelled due to difficulties caused by the global coronavirus pandemic.

Because of the postponement, the group held an online concert called “Bang Bang Con: The Live,” last June 14.  The show pulled over 756,600 fans across 107 regions and set a Guinness World Records title for the most viewers for a music concert live stream.

"MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E" will come come after the release of BTS’ comeback song "Dynamite," an English song, set to drop next Friday, Aug. 21.

In addition, BTS will also release a new album in the ‘fourth quarter’ of 2020.
