Named "Whoosh", this groundbreaking bullet train has revolutionized travel between two of Indonesia's largest cities, Jakarta and Bandung.  The high-speed rail covers a distance of 142.3 kilometers (approximately 88.4 miles) at an impressive top speed of 350 kilometers per hour (220 miles per hour). This means that what used to be a three-hour journey can now be completed in just 45 minutes. The sections that remain today were mostly built during the Ming Dynasty, and less than 10% of these are well-preserved. In recent years, around 30% of the Great Wall has disappeared due to challenging climate conditions and reckless human activities, including stealing bricks to build houses. A recent incident has further contributed to the deterioration of this iconic structure. Two construction workers, a 38-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman, were arrested in the northern Shanxi province for causing irreversible damage to the Great Wall. China Plane Crash (Photo: Twitter) A China Eastern Boeing 737 crashed on March 21 in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Flight MU 5735 had 132 people onboard, including 123 passengers and nine crew members.  The plane took off from Kunming in Southwest China's Yunnan Province at 1:15 pm, and was scheduled to arrive in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong Province at 3:07 pm.   Flight records indicate the six-year-old plane made a near vertical nose dive before impact, according to the Associated Press. Smoke from the plane wreckage could be seen billowing above the mountainous region of southen China.  More than 650 fire rescuers were being mobilized. Firefighters have found pieces of the plane after arriving at the rescue site. China Subway Flooding (Video Screengrab) Flood water wreaking havoc across China's Henan province on Wednesday following days of torrential rain. A month's worth of rain fell in an hour in China. Widespread flooding, roads were suddenly transformed into rivers and lakes. Subway passengers trapped underground plead for help. Local authorities said that there are 12 people reported dead in Henan's capital, Zhengzhou, due to the heavy rain. Video showed commuters chest deep in murky flood waters and an underground station turned into a large pool. Another video showed a crowd rescuing a woman being swallowed by a sinkhole. At least 12 people were killed when a subway line was flooded. Unmistakable panic among the passengers that were trapped inside a submerged subway car when waist deep waters rising to their shoulders. China first space walk Chinese astronauts successfully stepped out of Tianhe, the Chinese space station core module.  Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo are two of the three-man crew of China's Shenzhou-12 mission.  The Chinese astronauts on board finished lifting the panoramic camera during their first extravehicular activites.  The extravehicular panoramic camera was initially installed at a lower position on the robotic arm, with a limited vision.  A wider perspective of the camera is required for the astronauts to monitor the situation outside the space station, so the astronauts need to install a bracket to lift the camera higher.  They also work together to install other relevant extravehicular equipment with the aid of the mechanical arm.  They were wearing a new generation of extravehicular space suits developed by China.  It's the first time for Chinese astronauts to perform such moves at the space station core module.  China launched the crewed ...

Chinese netizens are furious and calling for boycott on Swedish fashion retailer H&M, after learning that the company banned sourcing cotton from Xinjiang since last year over allegations of forced labor in the region. It all started when the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC), the youth division of China's ruling party, took to Weibo to criticize H&M for issuing a letter saying it was "deeply concerned" by reports on "forced labor and discriminatoin against ethnic minorities in Xinjiang. The CYLC wrote in a post (in Chinese):  “Spreading rumors to boycott Xinjiang cotton, while also wanting to make money in China? Chinese Granny is not easy to mess with. A 76-year-old Chinese grandmother was attacked by a white man for no reason. But karma was fast as the Chinese granny instinctively fought back with a wooden stick and sends the man in a stretcher. Pompeo is the first official to publicly link Russia and has described what happened as a massive campaign of "serious and continuous" cyber espionage against the US government.
