BTS with President Joe Biden BTS met with U.S. President Joe Biden to address efforts to stop Anti-Asian Hate crimes on Tuesday. The White House has said the president and BTS members discussed "Asian inclusion and representation," as well as using BTS' platform as youth ambassador to "spread a message of hope and positivity across the world." Hundreds of ARMY's gathered outside the White House to catch a glimpse of BTS and the briefing room was packed with what many White House correspondents said was the largest number of journalists seen in years. The White House spokesperson insisted that BTS' visit to the White House itself will send a strong message across the country.

Incidents of attacks on Asians in the United States continue to occur.  On March 29, a hate crime incident occurred in New York City. A 65-year-old Asian woman (Filipino) was suddenly kicked and beaten on the street, and the attacker shouted "You don't belong here."  What is even more annoying is that not only did the security guard of the building beside them failed to help, they also closed the entrance and exit doors of the building from inside. According to information released by the New York City Police, the case occurred at around 11:40, in front of a building at 360 West 43rd Street in Manhattan. The victim, a 65-year-old Filipino immigrant, was identified as Vilma Kari.
