Chinese Rocket fell on Earth 2021: China's Long March-5B Y2 rocket smashes rumors by western media

In the past few days, some Western media using scary titles have made many accusations of "out of control", "irresponsible", and "not up to standard" fall of China's Long March-5B Y2 carrier rocket.

In the past few days, some Western media using scary titles have made many accusations of "out of control", "irresponsible", and "not up to standard" fall of China's Long March-5B Y2 carrier rocket.

The wreckage of China's rocket crashed into the Indian Ocean near Maldives on Sunday, May 9.  The vast majority of the rocket debris burned and destroyed during re-entry into the atmosphere, ending days of speculations on where the debris would fall.

When China's Long March 5B rocket wreckage is getting closer and closer, the Western hype about its "dangerousness" is becoming more and more exaggerated.   Western media invented a pseudo-concept of "out-of-control wreckage" in order to discredit.

However, the Internet has memories. When Musk's SpaceX "Falcon 9" rocket wreckage fell on a farm in the United States in March, foreign media used the romantic vocabulary "light up the night sky" to package it into a mysterious anecdote.

"Chinese space debris? Danger, watch out, it could fall on you! American space debris? It’s a cinematic, dazzling light show!" Russia Today" on May 8 satirized the Western and US propaganda machine performing its usual skillful manipulations.

Hu Xijin, the editor-in-chief of the Global Times,  pointed out on Weibo that Western media is so critical of China space launch.
"To put it bluntly, they just envy and hate the rapid progress of China's aerospace industry. They can't bear that only one space station (Chinese Space Station) will be in orbit in space after a few years. The rapid development of the entire China drives them crazy. Even desperate. So they incited hostility towards China in an anti-science or even anti-common sense. Some American scientists and even NASA participated in this hype. This is their shame,"
Hu Xijin said.

The facts are very clear. It is completely normal for the rocket wreck to fall on earth and it was common practice across the world for the upper stages of rockets to burn up while reentering the atmosphere.

Before launch, Chinese scientists calculated the landing points for the rocket debris to minimize possible casualties.

During the nearly 60 years of space activities, the calculated fall of rocket debris has not caused casualties so far.

Last week’s launch saw it deliver the first module of China’s first-ever space station, dubbed Tianhe – ‘Harmony of the Heavens’ – into orbit. Future launches are supposed to deliver two smaller modules, dubbed Wentian (‘Quest for the Heavens’) and Mengtian (‘Dreaming of the Heavens’).

China is about to build its own space station, which shows that China has mastered the most advanced space technology today.
