Cardi B is said to have been fed up with all the affairs committed by her husband, Offset, and made herself file for divorce after three years of marriage. 

A source told People that Cardi B realized that her husband had lost any loyalty to their marriage. 

"Offset had cheated on quite often throughout their marriage, but Cardi tried to survive because of the child," said the source. "Cardi doesn't want to be embarrassed either. But she's fed up," 

Representatives of Cardi B and Offset have not yet responded to the news of this divorce lawsuit. 

A number of scandals and dramas have colored Cardi B and Offset's three-year marriage. In January 2018, Cardi admitted that Offset was involved in a sex video scandal. 

The admission came after earlier rumors of an affair, a sex video surfaced and that Offset allegedly cheated on her with another woman in December 2017, three months after Offset and Cardi got married. 

In February 2018, Cardi revealed to Cosmopolitan about the situation she was in and the reasons for deciding to stay in the marriage. 

"I know I'm cute, I know I'm rich, I know I'm talented. I know I can get any man I want, be it a basketball player, a football player," Cardi said. 

"But I want to go with it with my husband, and I don't have to explain why," she continued. 

After being together and then having a daughter. Cardi B and Offset split again in December 2018. This time, the reason was "no longer in love". 

But it only lasted a week. Offset asked to reconcile with Cardi B and promised to be a better man. 

"I was involved in activities that I shouldn't have done, and I apologize. You understand, right? Hurting your heart, betraying our promises, breaking promises to God, and being selfish, being a messy husband," said Offset, at that time. 

"I try to be a better person," he said again. "I want to get this off my shoulder. I want to get this off my back. I apologize to you, Cardi. I love you," 

In every interview, Cardi B repeatedly confirmed that his relationship with Offset was indeed full of love again. Until then, divorce was an option. 

ET confirmed that the rapper filed for divorce against Offset on Tuesday September 15 in Fulton County, Georgia. The first trial will be held on 4 November. 

According to court documents released by TMZ, Cardi B is eyeing primary physical and legal custody of their two-year-old daughter, Kulture. 

Cardi also asked Offset to provide support for their daughter, divorce fees, and property for the duration of their marriage.

 The document stated that the two were separated because "there was no more chance for reconciliation".
