The Los Angeles Lakers are in the NBA final! They won against a resilient Denver Nuggets team in the Western Conference finals. The triumph came in game number 5, with the score from 117 to 107.

LeBron James once again made history in the League and scored a triple-double in victory. With the results, the Lakers closed the series in 4 to 1.

Now, the Los Angeles team awaits the winner from Boston and Miami to meet their opponent in the big decision.

Caruso appears and LeBron dominates

A busy first quarter. That's how Game 5 between Lakers and Nuggets started. Caruso scored eight points in the first 12 minutes. In the last two matches, he had scored five points combined.

The Lakers had an advantage and scored 20 points only and went to the next period with 33-30 on the scoreboard.

But it was in the second quarter that LeBron James appeared for good. The Lakers winger "blew up" to 16 points and helped the Los Angeles team to score ten points in the break: 61 to 51.

LeBron 'destroys', makes history and Lakers in the final

The third was insane. The Lakers started with everything and soon opened up more than 15 points. But with the strength of Jamal Murray and Jerami Grant, the Nuggets tied the game and went on to the last period losing by only three: 87 to 84.

Grant finished with 14 points just in the third quarter, his best mark in a playoff career.

But the last quarter was by LeBron James. The winger shone and took the Lakers to the NBA finals after ten years. Triumph by 117 to 107.

LeBron James leads Los Angeles Lakers to first NBA Finals in 10 years.

The "King" reached four triple-doubles in playoffs aged 35 and over. In history, the rest of the League has only three.
