A few days after the premiere of the long-awaited series Emily in Paris, its protagonist, Lily Jane Collins (31) - daughter of musician Phil Collins (69) -, made a post on Instagram that left her fans speechless.

It happens that her boyfriend for a year, Charlie McDowell (37, Emilia Clarke's ex, Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones), asked her to marry him and she, ultra excited, did not hesitate to show every last detail: from the moment of the request of him kneeling to the foreground of the engagement ring (a gold ring with a large square cut diamond).

"I've been waiting my whole life for you and I can't wait to spend our life together," she wrote alongside the photos, in which the couple is seen kissing, the filmmaker kneeling and a close-up of the impressive ring.

McDowell also made the announcement public on his social networks with a photo of his fiancee.

House Approves Marcos Day (September 11) in Ilocos Norte

President Ferdinand Marcos The House of Representatives has approved in the third and final reading the law declaring September 11 as a special non-working holiday in the province of Ilocos Norte in commemoration of the birthday of former President Ferdinand Marcos. According to the report, House Bill 7137 was approved by a vote of 197 on Yes, 9 No and an abstention which set the said date as “President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos Day” in Ilocos Norte.  Ilocos Norte Representatives Angelo Marcos Barba and Ria Fariñas, and Probinsyano Ako party-list Representative Rudys Caesar Fariñas authored the measure. “For the people of Ilocos Norte, the young and promising Marcos has brought pride to the province and served as inspiration for young leaders to exemplify his leadership and governance administration,” said the Fariñas siblings.
