Lotte Family Concert 2020 September 27: BTS, Girlfriend, TXT, Etc. Performances Videos

Lotte Duty Free held a concert  that can be accessed and viewed from all over the world at 5 pm (KST) on the 27th. Family concerts have been held offline every year since 2006 by Lotte Duty Free but due to Covid 19 it was held online.

The Lotte Family Concert, which celebrated its 30th this year, will be held online in the aftermath of a coronavirus infection (Covid 19).  Titled 'Hi, world! under the theme 'Duty Free life, again.'

An official at Lotte Duty Free said, “It was planned to be carried out on a large scale to commemorate the company's 40th anniversary, but it was destroyed due to Corona 19. Instead, it was conducted online in the sense of consoling and overcoming people around the world suffering from depression due to Covid 19.” 

The Lotte Family Concert showed brilliant performances by BTS, Tomorrow x Together, Chi-Yeol Hwang, Girlfriend, and Hyun Lee. The performance were pre-recorded and were translated into six languages, including English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Vietnamese.

Lee Gap, CEO of Lotte Duty Free, said, "We hope that the family concerts prepared by Lotte Duty Free will be of strength to all when the whole world is difficult due to Corona 19." 

Viewers registered first as a member on the Lotte Internet Duty Free website to watch the event.  If you sign in with the ID and request to see the performance, a mobile admission code will be sent individually.

An official at Lotte Duty Free said, "Unlike previous years when concert admission tickets were distributed according to the amount of purchases at the duty free shop, this time, new subscribers flocked to the internet by signing up for a duty free shop and applying for free viewing. New subscribers did not increase significantly in China, where access is difficult."

Since 2006, the Lotte Duty Free Family Concert has become a representative of Korean Wave cultural event enjoyed by both Korean and foreign tourists every year.
