Netflix Film Philippines: Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story

Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story is the first animated Netflix Film from the Philippines. 

On September 21, 2020, Netflix announced that the film is set to be released on October 29 in the Philippines. 

Story: Nimfa, an anthropomorphic cat, works as a perfume salesperson at a department store.  Her boyfriend, a mongrel named Roger, is a janitor. However, when Nimfa meets Inigo, a dog with a career as a high-profile entrepreneur, she finds herself caught in the middle of a love triangle. 

Directed by Avid Liongoren, written by Manny Angeles and Paulle Olivenza.

Animated and produced by Rocketsheep Studio and Spring Films - Erickson Raymundo, Piolo Pascual, Joyce Bernal, E Del Mundo, Avid Liongoren and Manny Angeles. 

It features a voice cast that includes Angelica Panganiban, Robin Padilla, Sam Milby, Empoy Marquez and Arci Muñoz. Comments

House Approves Marcos Day (September 11) in Ilocos Norte

President Ferdinand Marcos The House of Representatives has approved in the third and final reading the law declaring September 11 as a special non-working holiday in the province of Ilocos Norte in commemoration of the birthday of former President Ferdinand Marcos. According to the report, House Bill 7137 was approved by a vote of 197 on Yes, 9 No and an abstention which set the said date as “President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos Day” in Ilocos Norte.  Ilocos Norte Representatives Angelo Marcos Barba and Ria Fariñas, and Probinsyano Ako party-list Representative Rudys Caesar Fariñas authored the measure. “For the people of Ilocos Norte, the young and promising Marcos has brought pride to the province and served as inspiration for young leaders to exemplify his leadership and governance administration,” said the Fariñas siblings.
