The final episode of the popular TV anime "Sword Art Online" (SAO) series "Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld Final Chapter" (2nd Cour) was broadcasted at midnight on the 19th in Japan.

After the broadcast, it was announced that a new animation project for "SAO", "Sword Art Online Progressive" Anime Project, will start. Details of the project will be announced later. 

The animated "Sword Art Online Progressive" is a reboot series that depicts the trajectory from the first layer of Einclad, which is the stage of the death game, to clearing. It depicts the episode in which Kirito became the <Black Swordsman> and the episode that was not told in the <Einclad> edition. 

The original novel began publication in 2012 and is currently on sale up to Volume 6.

In the visual, along with the appearance of the heroine Asuna, a catch phrase "I will not lose to this world (game)" is drawn.  Asuna also appeared in the announcement video, saying, "November 6, 2022, that day, everything started." 

The "Sword Art Online" series is based on a novel by Reki Kawahara. A story about Kirito, the main character, being involved in various online games in the near future, where virtual reality is realized by devices connected to virtual space. 

In the "Alicization'' edition, which started broadcasting TV animation in October 2018, Kirito makes a full dive into a virtual world with a magnificent fantasy taste, and the story unfolds in search of clues while the memory just before login is vague. The alicization edition has been completed.
