Tom Hardy is rumored to be playing the role of the new James Bond when Daniel Craig retires from his role after "No Time To Die."

The rumors have not been officially confirmed as they stem from what is claimed to be a reliable scooper, The Vulcan Reporter.

According to rumors, Tom Hardy is expected to be announced as the new James Bond in November, but the announcement in November will not happen due to coronavirus.

Chances are, the announcement is still out this year, or if "No Time To Die" is postponed again, in early 2021.

"I heard about this news back in June. At the time, Hardy's casting was unofficial but he had auditioned and was basically tied up in the role. It's similar to how Craig said he got the role of Bond and then a few months later it was officially announced publicly, "as reported by the cosmicbook, citing the leak's tweet on twitter.

Tom Hardy has been reported for some time by British tabloid websites about the news. Hardy was also listed as a top contender for playing the new James Bond by various bookmakers.

Tom Hardy is a British actor, so obviously he fits the 007 profile, as he was born in Hammersmith, London and he grew up in East Sheen, London.

The 43-year-old actor is known for a plethora of roles including playing Bane in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, starring in George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road, receiving an Oscar nomination for The Revenant, starring in the TV series Taboo, and Tom Hardy returning to play Eddie Brock and the symbiote in Marvel and Sony's Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

James Bond: No Time to Die is out November 20, so maybe Tom Hardy James Bond's announcement will come in December.
