Snowdrop confirms lead role of Jung Hae In alongside Jisoo and synopsis released.

JTBC confirmed six cast members of Snowdrop, a K-drama in which BLACKPINK's Jisoo will debut as the lead.

More details arrive from Snowdrop, a drama that JTBC is preparing and that until now had hidden its main plot. In addition to revealing the characters, the main cast led by BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Jung Hae In, actor from “In the Rain” is confirmed.

The conversations to define the cast date back months. While Jisoo and Kim Hye Yoon (SKY Castle) first confirmed their participation, it is now official that four more actors are joining the cast. In addition to Jung Hae In, Jang Seung Jo, Yoon Se Ah, and Jung Eugene are also in the cast.

As for the synopsis of Snowdrop, it will tell the romance that arises between Im Su Ho, a student from a prestigious university who arrives at a 'dorm' of young ladies after being injured, and Eun Young Cho, who finds it and decides to hide it despite of strict surveillance. It should be noted that the drama is set in Seoul in 1987.

This is the detailed description of the characters.

Im Su Ho (Jung Hae In) grew up in Germany. He's charming and kind, but he seems to be hiding a secret.

Eun Young Cho (Jisoo) is a cheerful student at the female college she attends. She meets Im Soo Ho at a social gathering and is attracted to him. Unexpectedly, they will cross their paths again when the young man appears bloodied in her apartment and she must secretly heal his wounds.

Pi Seung Hee (Yoon Se Ah) is the director of the women's residence, which is notoriously strict and scary for female students.

Kye Boon Ok (Kim Hye Yoon) works as a dorm room phone operator who due to financial difficulties had to abstain from studying.

Lee Kang Mo (Jang Seung Jo) is the leader of Team 1 of the National Intelligence Service (NIS), a tenacious man who always acts according to regulations.

Jang Ha Na (Jung Eugene), on the other hand, is an impulsive agent who feels committed to her job.

Produced by the creators of SKY Castle, the drama is scheduled to premiere in 2021.
