Totoro Appears in Aomori Prefecture
On the coast of Rokkasho Village in Aomori Prefecture, there is a rock hole that looks exactly like Totoro, the mysterious creature that appears in Studio Ghibli's "My Neighbor Totoro." Since it is located in the village's night district, it is called "Totoro Totoro" on the Internet, and tourists come to rely on SNS information.
According to the Village Tourism Association, the rock hole is about 8 meters high and about 4 meters wide, and was formed by lava erosion by the waves. Looking into the sea, the silhouette of Totoro, which is characterized by a chunky body, emerges.

It was a place that had been known locally for a long time, but since last year it has been talked about on the net that "the outline is similar to Totoro". The village will be used on the cover photo of the July issue of the public relations magazine to appeal as a new tourist attraction.
