Typhoon Rolly Approaching Bicol, strongest typhoon for 2020
Typhoon "Rolly" is expected to bring heavy rains and winds, and it will first be felt in the Bicol Region on Saturday night.
According to the severe weather bulletin of Pagasa at 11 a.m., the typhoon was spotted 480 kilometers northeast of Virac, Catanduanes.
On Sunday, it is expected to rain more heavily in Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon and even in Cagayan Valley.
Typhoon Rolly has wind speeds of 215 kilometers per hour near the eye of the storm, while its gusts reach 265 kph, and is moving west at a speed of 20 kph.
Due to the strong storm, it is possible that up to signal number 4 will be declared in the areas that Rolly will pass through.
In Metro Manila, Rolly's wind could reach 100 kph on Sunday night and that signal number 3 could be declared in the area.
According to PAGASA, the typhoon could cause up to 2.0 meters in the coastal areas of Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, Bicol Region, and Northern Samar.
Aside from Rolly, PAGASA is also monitoring another possible typhoon which will be named "Siony" and is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Sunday or Monday.

Malacañang appealed to the public especially the residents of the potential areas affected by Typhoon Rolly to remain calm but vigilant.
Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque also said that they should always check the latest government weather advisory, listen to the radio or watch television for more information, secure their home and car and keep their loved safe.
Sec. Roque said the government's concerned disaster agencies are now on standby 24/7.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Operations Center is in Red Alert Status and has strong coordination with all regional disaster risk reduction and management councils and local government units.
“They have been conducting Pre-Disaster Risk Assessments to ensure that all local government units and communities are prepared for the possible impacts of the typhoon to landslide-, flood-, storm surge- and lava flow- prone areas.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), on the one hand, has stockpiles and standby funds amounting to more than P879-M, as of October 30 6PM, for ready resource augmentation to local government units.
