Meghan Markle is speaking out in the new promo for her and Prince Harry's Oprah Winfrey interview.

Oprah asked Meghan how she felt about having the palace's eyes on her as she gets candid, and she had this to say,


In the latest teaser for Sunday night's 90-minute special, the Duchess of Sussex didn't hold back when discussing the importance of speaking her truth.

Oprah: "How do you feel about the palace hearing you speak your truth today?"
Meghan: "I don't know how they could expect that after all of this time we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us.

Meghan went on to acknowledge that she and Harry may face fallout from their interview but they've already made sacrifices,
"If that comes with risk of losing things, I mean I've there's a lot that's been lost already," Meghan said.

The new promo marks the first time we've heard Meghan speaking to Oprah for the primetime special.  Past previews already gave us some peeks at the dramatic conversation to come.

Harry spoke to the media personality about how glad he was to go through this royal transition with his wife by his side which was diferent from his mom's experience.
"I can't begin to imagine what it must have been like for her going through this process by herself all those years ago because it has been unbelievably tough for the two of us but at least we had each other," Harry said.

The days leading up to Meghan and Harry's interview have been filled with controversy for the couple.  Meghan was accused of bullying by Royal aides during her time at Kensington Palace.  The claims were published in a report from the  The Times of London, and Buckingham Palace is launching an investigation into the allegations.

However, a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan denied the allegations calling the situation a "calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful information."
