2021 VMAs: BTS Praises Their Army, Performs 'BUTTER' A Capella while accepting award
BTS won big at the 2021 Vmas. The army came out in full force for BTS at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Before the annual award show even kicked off on Sunday night, the K-pop superstar snagged the award for Group of the Year and the awards did not stop there. The South Korean stars also took home the Best K-pop video award.
To make it even more special, three boy band icons, NSYNC's Lance Bass, Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean, and 98 Degrees' Nick Lachey, were on hand to announce the honor.
BTS couldn't be in Brooklyn to accept their awards in person but after their hit song 'Butter' won best K-pop video they offered up an acapella performance as a treat.
The seven singers sent a message sharing their excitement over the award.
BTS also took a moment to shout out to their beloved BTS army aka their loyal fans. The BTS army is known to be one supportive and powerful fan group.
