Before his death, Lloyd Cadena was positive for COVID-19

It has been a few days since the famous vlogger Lloyd Cadena passed away, and to this day many Filipinos are still deeply saddened.

But many were even more heartbroken when Lloyd's family confirmed that Lloyd was infected with COVID-19 before he passed away.

Earlier in the day, most people knew that cardiac arrest was the cause of Lloyd's death, but this Sunday night it was confirmed via the vlogger's official Facebook page that he was infected with the virus.


“Lloyd was confined in the hospital on September 1 due to high fever and dry cough. He was tested for COVID-19 on the same day which the result came out positive on September 3,” Kween LC's family posted on the FB post.

“As soon as the result of his swab test came out, our family, including BNT immediately isolated themselves. His vitals were okay and had no complaints,” they added.

But by September 4, 5AM, Lloyd had no response and was pale. 

Lloyd was cremated on Saturday and his remains were temporarily kept in their house in Cavite.

House Approves Marcos Day (September 11) in Ilocos Norte

President Ferdinand Marcos The House of Representatives has approved in the third and final reading the law declaring September 11 as a special non-working holiday in the province of Ilocos Norte in commemoration of the birthday of former President Ferdinand Marcos.
