Lloyd Cadena, popular Filipino Youtuber, passes away

One of the first famous vloggers in the Philippines, Lloyd Cadena, has passed away. He was 26.

One of the first famous vloggers in the Philippines, Lloyd Cadena, has passed away. He was 26.   


On his official Facebook page, Lloyd's death was confirmed, but did not elaborate on the cause of his death. 


His passing has triggered an outpouring of grief online. Other content creators have posted tribute videos and his name is currently trending on Philippine Twitter. 

In DJ Gandang Kara's instagram story, who worked with Lloyd on Love Radio, she posted a condolence message for the late social media influencer. 

“I love you so much and I will miss you forever. Here I will kiss you first and hug the flower you gave, ”Kara said while holding the flowers that Lloyd gave. 

Influencer Macoy Dubs was also emotional when he confirmed the news of Cadena's death.

Cadena first began his YouTube channel back in 2010. He had more than 3 million subscribers, and was best known for his hilarious antics and candid vlogs about his daily life. He had more than 5 million followers on Facebook.

House Approves Marcos Day (September 11) in Ilocos Norte

President Ferdinand Marcos The House of Representatives has approved in the third and final reading the law declaring September 11 as a special non-working holiday in the province of Ilocos Norte in commemoration of the birthday of former President Ferdinand Marcos. According to the report, House Bill 7137 was approved by a vote of 197 on Yes, 9 No and an abstention which set the said date as “President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos Day” in Ilocos Norte.  Ilocos Norte Representatives Angelo Marcos Barba and Ria Fariñas, and Probinsyano Ako party-list Representative Rudys Caesar Fariñas authored the measure. “For the people of Ilocos Norte, the young and promising Marcos has brought pride to the province and served as inspiration for young leaders to exemplify his leadership and governance administration,” said the Fariñas siblings.
