Hyun Bin wins daesang, thanks Son Ye-jin at 2020 APAN Star Awards

Hyun Bin, of tvN's 'Crash Landing on You,' took the grand prize (daesang), at the '2020 APAN Star Awards' and publicly thanked his co star and now girlfriend Son Ye-jin.


Hyun Bin said, "I'm so happy to be able to start 2021 with such a big award, and I think that I should be better this year in return for this award." "I will continue to study harder and think more so that I can show you a better image than I do now," he added.

"Thank you to Jung-hyeok's best partner, Yoon Se-ri. Thanks to the character Yoon Se-ri that Ye-jin made well, it seems that Lee Jung-hyuk was able to breathe better. Special thanks to Son Ye-jin."

At the awards ceremony, Hyun Bin competed for the grand prize with Gong Hyo-jin of KBS 2TV's 'When Camellia Blooms', Park Seo-joon of JTBC's 'Itaewon Class,' Kim Hye-soo of SBS TV's 'Hyena', and Kim Hee-ae of JTBC's 'Couple'.

The 'APAN Star Awards is the only awards ceremony held for dramas from all broadcasting stations in Korea. MC is actor Kim Seung-woo.

The 'APAN Star Awards is the only awards ceremony held for dramas from all broadcasting stations in Korea. MC is actor Kim Seung-woo. 

In addition, the Best Male Actor award in the mini-series category was won by Kang Haneul, who performed a hot role in the drama 'When Camellia Blooms,' and the female best actor award was won by Kim Hee-sun, who digested various generations through the drama 'Alice,' and showed a mature performance. Lee Sang-yeop and Lee Min-jung, who showed a warm couple acting in the drama 'I have been there once', won the Best Actor Award in the soap opera category.

On the other hand, Son Ye-jin won the 'KT Seezn Star Award' on this day.

House Approves Marcos Day (September 11) in Ilocos Norte

President Ferdinand Marcos The House of Representatives has approved in the third and final reading the law declaring September 11 as a special non-working holiday in the province of Ilocos Norte in commemoration of the birthday of former President Ferdinand Marcos. Momoland's Nancy becomes victim of voyeurs, illegally manipulated photos leaked online, Agency to sue

Nancy   While Momoland's Nancy is being damaged by illegally manipulated photos, the agency has taken a tough response. Nancy's agency, MLD Entertainment, said in an official statement,  “Recently, illegally manipulated photos related to our artist Nancy are being distributed online and on social media. "We will take a strong legal action against anyone who distributes it," it said. According to reports, a staff member took a photo of Nancy while she was undressing.  The incident happened in 2019 when Nancy attended the ‘2019 Asia Artist Awards in Vietnam,’ wherein she was the MC.  The said photo leaked online.
