NASA Holds First Public Meeting on UFO's

Image
The Truth is out There?  NASA holds its first public briefing on UFO's.   In the group's first public meeting on Wednesday experts stress the need for more high quality observations to uncover the truth. The space agency launched a study one year ago to look into the unexplained sightings of unidentified flying objects. Today's panel featured 16 scientists and other experts looking at what unclassified information is out there. The panel is addressing how and why it's investigating the incidents.  They said that the presence of UFO's raises concerns about the safety of  our skies. NASA says it has received more than 800 reports of unidentified flying objects from around the world since 1996.   The panel says although some sightings of UFO's remain a mystery to science most have a rational and reasonable explanation.   But the panel did not completely rule out the possibility of extraterrestrials.  They said they haven't found life beyond...

Twitter Blue Tick: Twitter Begins Removing Legacy Verification

Image
Elon Musk Twitter Bye bye blue check. Big changes for the blue bird, Twitter. They removed the so-called blue checkmark. Elon Musk's social media platform has begun purging the official check marks from users who have not paid for it's subscription service.   The move, that took effect Thursday, caused major confusion on the social media platform making it harder for Twitter users to distinguish between legitimate and fake accounts.  The tick was originally a way to protect well-known people from impersonation or misinformation, but now anyone can pay for it.  Several Twitter users had objected to the changes fearing the new requirements would encourage the spread of misinformation and fake news.  Elon Musk had said that he wanted to get rid of what he described as a "Lords and peasants system."  Many politicians have warned of the serious consequences this can have in the event of emergencies when people need verified and correct information.  Beyonce, ...

Venus-Jupiter Conjunction 2023: How to see it, and what it means in one's life.

Image
Sky gazers are in for a treat when Jupiter and Venus appear very close together in the night sky on Wednesday.   A Venus-Jupiter conjunction occurs when the planets Venus and Jupiter appear very close to each other in the sky from the vantage point of Earth. As Venus and Jupiter are two of the brightest planets visible from Earth, such a conjunction can be a spectacular astronomical event. During a conjunction, Venus and Jupiter can appear so close to each other that they look like a single bright star or a double star to the naked eye. Venus-Jupiter conjunctions occur roughly every 13 months when the two planets align in their respective orbits, and their distance from each other is closest during these periods. The exact date of a conjunction can vary slightly depending on the position of the planets in their orbits, but they usually occur within a few days of each other. The last Venus-Jupiter conjunction occurred on April 30, 2022, and the next one will occur on February 7...

Understanding ChatGPT: The Future of Conversational AI

Image
ChatGPT ChatGPT is a language model developed by OpenAI. It is a variant of the GPT-3 (Generative Pretrained Transformer 3) model that has been fine-tuned for the task of conversational response generation. It uses deep learning techniques, such as transformers, to generate human-like responses to text input. The model has been trained on a large corpus of text data, allowing it to generate coherent and relevant responses to a wide range of questions and prompts. It has been designed to be flexible and versatile, capable of handling a wide range of conversational scenarios, from answering simple questions to engaging in complex conversations. One of the key strengths of ChatGPT is its ability to handle context and maintain coherence in its responses, even when the conversation covers multiple topics. This is achieved through the use of attention mechanisms, which allow the model to selectively focus on different parts of the input and incorporate that information into its responses. It...
